National Pro Am Hare ScrambleEvent Details:All information is subject to change as the race gets closer!
The race is ran at an old Downhill & Cross Country Ski Resort. The course will use the old ski runs and trails cut through the hardwood forest. The soil is fairly rocky and ranges from loamy, clay to sand.
There is a large parking lot for pit and spectator parking. This is a great facility for spectators, they can overlook a good part of the trail and see participants several times a lap.
All bikes need to be AMA legal, 96db or less on a sound check, spark arrestor, etc. We will be doing a sound check at the start.
Another thing to make note of: per AMA rules, there will be no parade lap or viewing of the course prior to the event.
You may view the starting hill to where it goes into the woods. Be advised, anyone caught on the rest of the course prior to the race will be disqualified.
The race is sanctioned by the AMA and ARMCA Dist. 23. You can find the rules that we follow at the
AMA site and at the
District 23 site. Being this race is part of the AMA Racing National East Hare Scrambles Championship Series, there are also supplemental rules that will be followed, here is the link at the
AMA website.
