2008-06-29 - Enduro at Sugar Hills
Event Details:
All information is subject to change as the race gets closer!
All bikes need to be AMA legal, we will be doing a sound check at the start.
Riders meeting before the event will be near the start, 15 minutes before event start.
The race is sanctioned by the AMA and ARMCA Dist. 23. You can find the rules that we follow at the AMA site and at the District 23 site.
Signup Times:
Saturday Night: 6-9 PM
Sign-up will be at 9-Mile Corner.
1 mile North of Smith Creek Road (Road into start area).
Sunday Morning: Start at 7 AM
Sign-up will be at the race start.

The race is ran on private land south of Sugar Hills.
Location Details:
The terrain varies from hilly hardwoods to flatter loamy ground. There is always logging going on in the area, so we have both thicker woods and varied stages of clear-cuts. We try to mow the tall grass in the newer clear-cuts to make them easier to see the stumps and other obstacles.
Directions:
10 miles South of Grand Rapids, MN
West on Smith Creek gravel logging road about 3 miles to the start area.

There will be free primitive camping at the start. There is limited space, so cozy up with your neighbor.

There is also camping and hotel rooms at ParkX (Quadna) 1 mile south of Hill City. They are about 10 miles South of the Enduro start. Go to one of our Harescramble events to get information.
