2006-08-20 - Monkeybutt Quad Only Harescrambles

All quads need to be AMA legal, 96db or less on a sound check, spark arrestor, etc. We will be doing a sound check at the start. You need a DNR Off-Road Sticker, even though we are on private land.

This is the old "for fun" Monkeybutt race that Ken has been having the past few years, we decided last year to make it an official AMA sanctioned event. Last year the entry numbers were low, but we hope to get enough attendance this year to be able to continue this event in the future.>

The race is sanctioned by the AMA and ARMCA Dist. 23. You can find the rules that we follow at the AMA site and at the District 23 site.

Signup Times:
Signup will be at the start area before the race.

Bring your helmet to signup!! We will be using barcode scoring. If you already have a barcode, we will use it to speed up the registration.

If you don't have a barcode, we want to make sure you get one. The barcodes are used for scoring and need to be applied correctly to be scored correctly!

Start Times:
Mini Quad's- 10:30 AM
Big Quads - 12:000 PM
If there is enough quads, we would like to run the C class first and then the A & B class at 1 or 2 PM

Ken's Monkeybutt riding area.

The property is all private land.

Directions:
Directions: From South Hwy 169 thru Grand Rapids, go East on Hwy 2 to Shallow Lake Rd;

From Hwy 65, take Hwy 2 West to Shallow Lake Rd, about 2.5 miles West of Warba;

Take Shallow Lake Road to a "T", go left and it is the first place on the left.

Look for arrows to the start area.
