2005-06-25 - Mini's at Sugar Hills
Event Details:
All information is subject to change as the race gets closer!
All bikes need to be AMA legal.
Riders meeting before the event will be near the start, 15 minutes before event start.
The race is sanctioned by the AMA and ARMCA Dist. 23. You can find the rules that we follow at the AMA site and at the District 23 site.
Signup Times:
Saturday Morning:
Sign-up will be at the race start.
Start Times:
Micro & Macro - 3 P.M.- Run 1/2 hr.
PeeWee, Premier & Girls - 4 P.M.
There will be 2 different courses, a shorter easier one for the Micro & Macro classes, and a longer course for the other bikes. These are great courses for the youth bikes.
Classes:
Micro - Ages 4-8, oil injected/auto 2 or 4 stroke;
Macro - Ages 4-8 50cc 2-stroke chain, 80 cc 4-stroke. DS 80, PW80, XR80;
PeeWee - Ages 7-11, 0-65cc 2-stroke; 9-11 PW 80, DS 80, 80cc 4-stroke;
Premier - Ages 7-15 0-85cc 2-stroke, Big wheel 85/105, up to 150cc 4-stroke;
Girls - Ages 11-15 80-200cc 2-stroke, 0-150cc 4-stroke
Location: - Sugar Hills Mini
The race is ran on private land south of Sugar Hills. We will be having the Mini at the Main race start.
Location Details:
The terrain varies from hardwoods, old popple growth to Pine plantation. The course has a few hills, but is mostly trails wide enough for a 4-wheeler. We will be mowing the tall grass to make the course easier to see the obstacles.
Directions:
10 miles South of Grand Rapids, MN
West on Smith Creek gravel logging road about 3 miles to the start area.

Accomodations:
There will be free primitive camping at the start. There is limited space, so cozy up with your neighbor.
