Range Riders Motorcycle Club Information
Incorporated: 1972
Events: Enduro, Hare Scrambles, in the past Motorcross.
Location: Grand Rapids, MN
As you can tell by our incorporation date, Range Riders has been around
for a long time. We were one of the first off-road motorcycle clubs in
Minnesota. The number of active members has changed through the years.
Ranger Riders put on several National Enduro's, the latest in 1980. During
those years we had enough people and terrain to also put on at least one
District Enduro, on a separate course. At that time we had three separate
area's to run Enduro's, we are now down to just one area. Each year, early
summer, we currently setup about a 70 mile Enduro, located 10 miles south
of Grand Rapids.
Starting in the fall of '03 we have been sanctioning Hare Scrambles events
at the WSA/ParkX facility one mile south of Hill City. The location is
an old downhill ski resort turned motor sports facility (formerly known
as Quadna Mountain Resort). We have about 600 acres to use for the trails.
We hope the number of participants and spectators will greatly increase
so we will be able to host a National type event (GNCC, National HS) in
the near future.
